The HEDICT working group aims at bringing members together with an ICT programme in order to share best practices for students and staff. As ICT-students are hard to convince to opt for student mobility, low level opportunities like short mobility projects or virtual projects to experience internationalisation at home have been created. Participation in those projects not only increases the number of student mobilities but also the enthusiasm for a longer mobility like study or internship. In addition, also initiatives for staff have been taken. Since the domain of ICT is evolving quickly, we are open to shared curriculum development.

- Improving student mobility: organising international activities for students
- BusIT Weeks and BIPs
- COIL: Organisation of an international, interdisciplinary, innovative, virtual 24-hours hackathon (Hack the Waste)
- Organisation of internationalvirtual projects for students
- Helping each other with the fast changing field of IT, eg developing a shared course, supporting more curriculum development together
- Increasing and improve teaching exchanges
- Sharing best practices
- Sharing experiences on networks of companies (traineeships): how to involve industry in our working group
