Basecamp enables members to network and collaborate with other members of the Businet Network. It is a great way to get answers to your questions quickly, work on or promote an activity or event.

How to use Basecamp?

Login using the app or the browser. On the website you can find the login option in the top right-hand corner. On the app, the login will appear as soon as you launch the app. Forgotten password links are available on the web or on the app.

PLEASE NOTE, that Basecamp is a separate system to the Businet website.

When you login to Basecamp you will find folders for all the projects you have been given access to.  We have projects for all Working and Special Interest Groups in Businet, jobs boards and various conferences and European projects Businet is involved in, as well as an area for ALL Members.  

If you want a new project for something you are working on,  we ask that you DO NOT create this yourself but ask an administrator to do this.  

You can see all projects you have access to in ‘View all projects list’.

Getting started

Click on Businet All Members Area in Basecamp. Access Businet All Members Message Board – Browse, Search or Add your own comments or messages.

If you want to ask a question or announce something, click “Add a message”, then choose a category and add a title and more details. Click post. Let the conversation begin!

You can chat with other members round the ‘Campfire’, find useful documents and Basecamp tutorials and view your basecamp schedule. 

“Hey!” shows you what’s new | “Find” helps you find content quickly | “Ping” lets you chat to individual members directly | You can update your notification preferences in “My Stuff” or my clicking on your profile.

Receiving too many notifications? You can change how often you receive them by clicking on the icon in the top right corner then “Change your notification settings“
