The Mission: Bridge the gap between political goals, Chinese funding delays, and technical integration to sign a final tripartite agreement.

Will you secure the tracks or derail the deal?

The goal of this week is to retrofit a pedal car to run on battery and control it thanks to your smartphone. Our main focus is to provide you with hands-on experience of building up a running web app and kart within the time frame of one week. Therefore, theoretical explanations will be kept to a minimum to let you practice, discuss and experiment as much as possible: this is your project.      

This project will provide you with a sneak peek into several key aspects of electromechanics and automation: from 3D printing your own gears to controlling your motor and servomotor thanks to Bluetooth communication.

The goal of this international week is to design and present innovative and creative concepts based on Circular Economy principles within the sports industry.

No prior knowledge is required: through expert-led sessions and company visits in the Brussels area, you will progressively build a solid understanding of circular practices.

Working in teams, you will apply these insights to co-create practical and impactful business ideas that could be implemented in real business practices, helping shape a future-ready sports industry.

This week is also a unique opportunity to meet and collaborate with students from different cultures in a dynamic and interactive environment. You will explore new ways of doing business, challenge the traditional linear model, and discover more sustainable alternatives - all while having fun!

This week will combine problem-solving activities designed to develop students’ cooperation, creativity, and adaptability in an international environment. 

Students will also visit a local brewery and enjoy beer tastings. Social activities, as well as a beer and chocolate treasure hunt in the European capital, Brussels, will also be organized to promote intercultural understanding and introduce participants to Belgian specialties.

The programme will include conferences, coaching sessions with professionals, teamwork activities, a final presentation, and a prize ceremony.

More than ever, it’s important to drive your business, keeping the eyes on key figures in a dashboard…The international context forced companies to rebuild their business and to reorganize it, transforming the threats into opportunities. If you haven’t a solid management system, it can be more difficult to keep up. 

During the week, we will focus on KPIs (Key performance indicators): Why is it so important to have a good dashboard? Examples of relevant KPIs – testimonials of companies. Drive your own virtual business in teams and try to perform and maximize your own KPIs in a competitive environment. 

In our programme you will find: 

• An introductory lecture from DELOITTE  
• A lecture and visit of a well-know company 
• A visit of Choco Story (Chocolate museum in Brussels) and the town center of Brussels  
• A business game during which you will in team drive a company that produces and sells leisure boats

- Hands-On Case Study: Put theory into practice! Engage in a dynamic case study that simulates real-world lobbying scenarios. Work with fellow students to develop and present your own lobbying strategy. 

The Challenge: A Company in Crisis. A Team Under Pressure.

You are now a Vice President at The Fresh Connection, a global juice manufacturer facing a financial meltdown. Your mission? Lead a high-stakes turnaround. To rescue the business, you must break down silos and align Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain into a single, profitable machine. Compete against international teams in a real-time simulation where every tactical decision hits the bottom line. Will your strategy deliver the winning ROI, or will the company fold under the pressure?

The main goal of the week is to foster collaboration among students in mixed international groups on topics related to sustainable mobility issues. 

They are acting as entrepreneurs developing a business model aiming innovative solutions for sustainable mobility in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

They are challenged to think and communicate in English and will pitch their solution at the end of the week. 

Guest lectures, workshops, teamwork, coaching sessions, socio-cultural activities, and discovery of Brussels are spread throughout the week.
