Are you studying sports, business, or tourism and looking for an international learning experience? Join the ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "Community-Based Sport and Outdoor Entrepreneurship for Regional Development" at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Latvia.

This Blended Intensive Programme explores the role of sport events and outdoor activities in community development, civic engagement, and shared values, with a focus on rural and regional contexts. It examines how sport-based initiatives can strengthen social inclusion, active citizenship, local participation, and sustainable community development, while fostering cooperation, volunteerism, and participation in democratic life.

The programme combines academic learning with practical experience through case studies, field visits, and collaborative projects. Working in international teams, students develop a community-based sport or outdoor activity business concept to support local engagement and regional growth. By integrating hands-on learning, intercultural collaboration, and reflection, the BIP equips students to use sport as a tool for social impact, inclusion, and democratic participation.

There are still 3 free spots available for students from sports, business or tourism studies to take part in quite a unique "Sports and Business" (Community-Based Sport and Outdoor Entrepreneurship for Regional Development) ERASMUS+ BIP experience in Latvia, Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences.

The BIP will be organised from October 12th until October 16th with an online session on October 05th.
