Businet Annual Conference 2025: A Confluence of Ideas and Innovation

The Businet Annual Conference 2025 is set to take place from November 12-15 at the Hilton Sofia, located in the beautiful city of Sofia, Bulgaria. This prestigious event brings together educators, entrepreneurs, and industry experts from around the globe to discuss and exchange ideas on the latest trends and innovations in entrepreneurship and education.

Key Sessions and Highlights:

Inspiring Tourism Entrepreneurship to Support Refugees: This session introduces the Erasmus EU Inspire project, a collaborative effort by five universities from Ireland, Belgium, Croatia, Turkey, and Ukraine. Led by Noelle O'Connor and Tony Johnston, the workshop focuses on supporting refugee entrepreneurs through a multi-lingual suite of educational resources. Participants will discover innovative business practices and discuss concepts like hybridity and creativity in entrepreneurship.

When Students Need to Be Activated: With the growing challenge of maintaining students' attention in classrooms, this session explores gamified tools that make learning more engaging. Marina Letonja, Ria Slingerland, Paweł Urgacz, and Helge Fischer will guide participants through a gamified learning experience and provide valuable resources from the Erasmus Project Game4Change.

Innovation Starts with the Teacher: Focusing on the often-overlooked role of educators in entrepreneurship, this session challenges traditional approaches and highlights the importance of empowering teachers as innovators. Paweł Urgacz will showcase digital resources and interactive scenarios developed through the Erasmus+ project ENTER-CBL.
