As Europe rolls out its green competence frameworks for higher education and businesses increasingly call for sustainability-literate graduates, embedding sustainability into higher education curricula has never been more urgent.
This working group brings together educators, researchers, and curriculum developers from university colleges and universities across different countries to share experience, exchange best practice, and collaborate on concrete initiatives — with the network acting as a sparring partner for new ideas.
Our aims for the coming period:
Establish a yearly online student conference, building on the momentum of Sustainability Connect
Explore how to embed the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) into shared learning activities
Develop profession-based sustainability competences — what does sustainability mean for a marketer, a supply chain manager, an accountant?
Open a broad call for projects advancing sustainable competences: joint research, tools, assessments, and funding proposals
Connect members seeking research partners, industry or academic collaborators, student contributors, or PhD (co-)supervisors
Join our working group to connect with peers, contribute your institution's expertise, and help shape the network's sustainability agenda through a special “Sustainability Project Speed Dating”.
