STEM Working Group CSI:Crime Scene Investigation Micro-credential

Our STEM Working Group CSI:Crime Scene Investigation Micro-credential was an unmitigated success with the 9 participating students getting an insight into how to protect and secure a crime scene, preserving the evidence. Then experiencing Sheriff Trials and a Sheriff and Jury Trial before meeting with the Depute Procurator Fiscal and the Trial Sheriff before having a ‘warts and all’ conversation with the owner of a local Defence Solicitor practice. This was definitely an experience like no other as the students concluded the project with a live search and presenting on the historical case files they were working on.
