
Annual General Meeting 2025
The Annual General Meeting of the network will take place at 11.20 (CET) on Friday 14 November.
At the Annual Meeting of the network there will be an election of one Board member. After the Board election there will be a further election to install a new President. Nico Nijsten has served his term of office as President.
We are, therefore, looking for candidates for a Board position and for the role of President. If you would like more detailed information about the vacant Board position, please contact me by 29th September at businet@gmx.com. Anyone considering standing for election to the Board must express an interest by 30 September. This can be done by contacting the General Manager, Yvonne Farrand, who will oversee the election process (businet@gmx.com).
The election process is as follows:
- Before 30 September – anyone interested in standing for a Board position should identify themselves to the General Manager at businet@gmx.com
- Before 06 Oct – candidates will receive instructions
- Before 17 Oct – candidates will produce, if they desire, an information document for members in support of their application.
- Week Commencing 20 October – voting forms will be distributed to the first coordinator of each member institution.
- If you wish to address any questions to the Annual Meeting they must be submitted in writing before 14 October (to businet@gmx.com)
- Thursday 13 November - The vote will close at 2pm CET
- Friday 14 November - Results of the election for Board Member and President will be announced during the AGM at the Conference in Sofia.
