♻️ Hack the Waste – Virtual International Innovation Hackathon
Hack the Waste is a 24-hour virtual hackathon focused on developing innovative solutions to real-world waste challenges. The event brings together students from around the world to collaborate in multidisciplinary international teams.
The hackathon takes place entirely online from Friday 8 May 2026(13:00) to Saturday 9 May 2026 (13:00). During this intensive 24-hour session, participants work together to address pressing waste-related problems through creativity, technology, and teamwork.

What?
Hack the Waste is a high-energy, 24-hour online hackathon where you’ll join forces with students from around the world to solve a real waste management challenge. Working in international, interdisciplinary teams, you’ll have the chance to innovate and create impactful solutions for pressing waste issues. The hackathon kicks off with an introduction to the challenge, setting you up to brainstorm, collaborate, and present your ideas to drive sustainable change.
