🌍 Working group Creative Industries’ first BIP : Creative Industries Blended Intensive Programme 🌍

10/4/2026

We are opening the last spots for the Creative Industries Blended Intensive Programme (17th to 21st May), an international experience in Porto designed for students engaged in the arts and creative fields (visual arts, design, music, theatre, dance, multimedia, film, and related areas) who wish to strengthen their ability to operate in international and interdisciplinary environments.

The programme’s mission is to foster initiative, creativity, and leadership through collaborative work between institutions from several countries, preparing participants to become innovative professionals aware of their role in society and aligned with the principles of the EU Green Deal.

Throughout the programme, participants will work in international, multidisciplinary teams, exploring challenges related to the creative industries and sustainability. This immersive experience encourages learning-by-doing, combining theoretical input with practical application in real-world contexts.

The programme is structured around three core competence pillars:

- Pedagogical Excellence & Active Learning
A hands-on approach that connects theoretical concepts to concrete situations in the creative industries.

- Collaboration & Interdisciplinarity
International teamwork bringing together arts, technology, and societal perspectives.

-Transversal & Professional Skills
Development of pitching abilities, structured argumentation, and portfolio preparation for global creative markets.

Participants will engage in interactive sessions combining theory and practice, analyse real case studies, benefit from contributions by guest professionals, and take part in visits and field activities. The programme culminates in the development and presentation of creative proposals in a pitch format before an international panel.

This is a transformative international experience that promotes critical thinking, applied creativity, intercultural collaboration, and project management skills, empowering students to confidently participate in global and sustainable creative contexts.

Why you should join:

- Work in international, multidisciplinary teams

- Develop critical and strategic thinking skills

- Strengthen intercultural collaboration competencies
