Call for Participation: Blended Intensive Programme on Inclusive Design – Rotterdam, Fall 2026
Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences is inviting partner institutions to participate in an upcoming Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on Inclusive Design, taking place in Fall 2026. This international programme brings together students and staff from different countries to explore how inclusive design can contribute to more accessible, equitable, and user-centred solutions in today’s diverse societies.
The BIP combines online collaboration with a short-term physical mobility in Rotterdam, creating a dynamic learning experience where participants work in international, multidisciplinary teams. Through a mix of lectures, workshops, and hands-on design challenges, participants will engage with real-world cases and develop practical approaches to inclusive design.
A strong focus is placed on co-creation, inclusion, and social impact, encouraging participants to reflect on the needs of diverse user groups and to design solutions that are accessible to all. The programme is particularly relevant for institutions and participants interested in design, social innovation, education, urban development, or related fields.
Partner institutions are warmly invited to join this initiative by contributing students and staff, sharing expertise, and strengthening international collaboration within the Erasmus+ framework. The programme offers an excellent opportunity to expand international networks, exchange good practices, and provide students with a meaningful intercultural learning experience.
For more information about the programme content, participation conditions, and partnership opportunities, interested colleagues are encouraged to get in touch with the organisers at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
