About the Speaker

MJ Lace is not just a motivational keynote speaker, she’s a Global Award Winner, BBC Digital Practitioner of the Year, Global Woman Award Holder for Equality, Inclusion & Accessibility, and a Winner in Women Changing the World Awards. A People’s Choice Award recipient and a therapeutically trained SENDCO Social Worker, she is completing the final year of her social work licensing.

A wheelchair user for over 20 years, MJ is a person of determination, a student of determination, and an unapologetic advocate for true inclusion in education, work, and training. Having survived intubation during COVID, she emerged stronger, learning to move her energy and shifting the world around her in the process.

MJ is a Creative Commons Practitioner, an international speaker, and a driving force behind Inclusion by Design, ensuring that inclusion isn’t just an afterthought but a fundamental principle in further and higher education, as well as tertiary and secondary learning spaces.
